Obituary of Virginia Ann McGovern

WINTER HAVEN - Virginia Ann McGovern of Winter Haven, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012. She was 74. A native of Jersey City, NJ, born May 14, 1937, Virginia moved here 16 years ago from Broward County. She was a homemaker, and a Catholic. Virginia was predeceased by her husband Charles McGovern, Jr., and her daughter Linda McGovern. She is survived by her sons: Charles McGovern, III, Thomas McGovern, and Dennis McGovern; her daughters: Virginia Bicknell, and Kathleen Gerstner, her brother: Francis Curran, and her sister Gail Baker. Virginia also has 15 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 pm until 5 pm, Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral Services will follow at 5 pm.
