Obituary of Randy R. Mearkley

Randy R. Mearkley, 57, of Haines City, FL passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, July 9, 2012 due to cancer. Born Dec. 21, 1954 in Parishville, NY he moved to Haines City 5 years ago from Columbia, SC. He was of the Catholic Faith and was a Senior Team Leader for Target and was once Target's Employee of the Year. Randy loved to ride his Harley, He had been a coach for Miss Saratoga Softball and was named Coach of the Year. He loved Stained Glass work, Fishing, Bowling , and Soft Serve Ice Cream with 10 % butter fat . He is survived by his Life Partner of 8 years, Catherine Schwartz; a daughter, Tricia Mearkley of St. Petersburg, FL; a son, Brian Mearkley of Saratoga Springs, NY; 2 sisters, Cheryl Luehmann of California and Karen Mearkley of Parishville, NY; and a nephew, Nick Mearkley. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven, FL.
