Obituary of Audrey Mae Failing

Audrey Mae (Capasse) Failing of Winter Haven, passed away Wednesday, August 8,2012 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Residents Center from respiratory failure. She was 89. A native of Joliet, IL, born September 25, 1922 to Joseph and Elizabeth Rossi Capasse, Audrey moved here in 2003 from Carlsbad, CA, where she was a resident since 1950. She was Secretary to the Editor of Glendale California Newspaper, and later years was a Bank Officer for Bank of America. Audrey was a member of the Apple Valley Country Club, and the North Coast Presbyterian Church in Encinitas, CA. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband: Junius Failing (J.O.), a business owner in Baker, CA; her parents, and her brother: Robert Capasse. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law: Janice & Michael Rhoades of Gardnerville, NV; her sister & brother-in-law: Bob & Marilyn Verden of Winter Haven, FL; her grandson and his wife: Steve & Ashley Smith, and great-grandson: Dominic Smith, all of CA. Visitation will be from 2 to 5:00 PM Monday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. A prayer service will start at 4:30 PM.
