Obituary of Janis Marie Price

Janis Marie Price of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021. She was 80 years old. A native of Madisonville, Kentucky, born February 7, 1941 to William and Mary Lenning Presley, Janis moved here 40 years ago from Kentucky. She retired from Packaging Corporation of America as an Executive Secretary, and she was a member of the Sertoma Club. Janis enjoyed gardening, particularly her Christmas Cactuses, cookbooks, and traveling, especially to her favorite place, Astoria Oregon. Janis is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Gary Price; daughters: Jennifer (Bobby) Goode and Jennifer (Travis) Spoor; her son: Douglas (Katie) Price her brothers: Ronnie (Vicky) Presley and Donnie (Shirley) Presley, and her sister Peggy Oglesby. Janis also leaves behind six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions to be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, Florida 33823.
