Obituary of Helen L. Van Horn

Helen Louise Van Horn 90 of Winter Haven passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 at her residence. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Helen came to Winter Haven in 1990. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Winter Haven where she taught Bible Study and AWANA. A loving wife, mother and grandmother she will be dearly missed. Helen was preceded in death by her parents William and Margaret Hertel. Two siblings Roger Hertel, Marcia Schaap and her loving husband of 65 years Lloyd T. Van Horn who passed on the 23rd of January. Helen is survived by two daughters Carol Hulsey and husband Kevin and Debbie Kranek and her husband, Bill .Five Grandchildren, Ketura Eldridge-Free and her husband Kyle, Kelly Contreras and her husband Felipe, Kimmy Jaramillo and her husband Freddy, Tiffany Sheats and her husband Joshua, Brenton Hillman and a total of thirteen great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 1st from 6-8pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, February 2nd at 10 am at Faith Baptist Church 2140 Crystal Beach Road, Winter Haven, FL 33880.
