Obituary of Virginia Elaine Ogburn

Virginia Elaine Ogburn, 83, a lifelong resident of Haines City, Florida passed away on February 3rd, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 6, 1938 to Thomas Cicero and Nina Mae Gaffney Newman. Virginia worked as a fruit accountant for Holly Hill Fruit Products and she was a member of the First Christian Church in Haines City, Florida. Virginia was devoted to and loved her family dearly. She had a great passion for her faith and was an avid reader. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Nina; her first husband, Pat Powell and second husband, George Ogburn. Virginia is survived by her sons, Robert W. Powell and Richard G. Powell; daughters, Debra D. Powell and Vicky E. Reiners; sisters, Dorothy Douberly and Betty Lacina; six grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at First Christian Church in Haines City, FL.
