Obituary of Robert E. Thibodeau

Robert E. Thibodeau, Sr. 7/24/1927 – 2/7/2022 Curtis Industries Bob was born in Millinocket, ME., to Edward and Helen (Sylvain) Thibodeau. At seventeen he joined the Navy as a CB and served in Okinawa. After his discharge he returned to Winterport, ME and married Barbara Greene. They had three children, Betty, Bobby Jr. and Maryann. Bob is preceded in death by his previous wife, Barbara and his son, Bobby Jr. Bob is survived by his wife Jane, children Betty and Maryann, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and four stepchildren, Glenn, Deb, Bernie and Missy. Bob worked for Curtis Industries for twenty years and retired in 1998. Bob was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church where he served as an usher, a Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion, Bereavement Ministry and CRHP team #1. Bob was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, Council 4726, Assembly 1500. Bob was a 68 year member of the American Legion. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church Chapel Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 9:30 AM Interment will be at Bushnell National Cemetery with Military Honors. 1:00 PM
