Obituary of Kenneth E. Marshall

Kenneth E. Marshall, 66, of Lake Alfred, FL passed away on February 8, 2022 at the Winter Haven Hospital. He was born on September 18, 1955 in Haines City, FL to George E. and Emma L. Thorpe Marshall. Kenneth was a lifelong resident of Lake Alfred, worked as a truck driver for 35 plus years, and was of the Baptist faith. Kenneth loved tinkering around with cars, having a home improvement project going, and spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren, who they all called “papa”. He was a jack of all trades and he could build or do anything he put his mind to. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR and loved all movies. He also enjoyed collecting cars and coins. Kenneth is remembered as an honest, hard-working man who would help anyone in need. He is preceded in death by his father, George; mother, Emma; and daughter, Kimberly Marshall Fletcher. Kenneth leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 31 years, Sylvia Marshall; daughter, Kristen Marshall Reynolds and husband, Larry; sister, Christine Marshall Levan and husband, Travis; and proud grandfather of Zachary Kayne Fletcher, Kaitlyn Alexia Reynolds and Kyle Alexander Reynolds. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL.
