A. Maria Thomas 74, passed away on 15 February 2022. Maria was born April 12 1947 in Gainesville Ga to the late James and Charlotte(Brookshire)Newell. She was retired from NGHS. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Clarence A. Thomas. She is survived by her children, Christy and Tracey Smith, Lake Alfred Fla., Christopher and Jeni Thomas, Owens Crossroads AL., 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
