Uncle Terry will always be one of the coolest guys I know, and one who I have always admired. As a kid, I just remember him being bigger than life - and a bit intimidating - always rolling through in cammies or a flight suit. His smile was infectious and his laugh would light up a room in an instant. But when he was serious about something, you knew it! :-) At one point, he, aunt Debbie and Shannon didn't live too far away from us in the DC metro area. I remember swimming at their house in the summer, but most of all, I remember uncle Terry taking us to airshows. I just remember, it was such a special treat and outing for us. And at one point, because of him, we had a front row seat to helicopter operations. As I grew older, and after I learned a lot more about aviation/aerospace, I just loved chatting with him about all things planes and helicopters. And I think he truly enjoyed all of my 'behind the scenes' competitive aerospace gossip. Uncle Terry wasn't just cool - he was fun. I have so many great memories of our uncle Terry - and I will cherish them always. Rest in peace, warrior. We love you.

My heart is broken at the loss of Terry. He was always so kind to me. I will remember his love for his family and especially his love for the grandchildren we shared. Hunter told me recently, after I told him how much his grandpa loved him and his brother and sister, "we can't see him, but he can still see us. He lives right here, in our hearts." I wish peace and healing and send all my love to you all. I wish I could be there with you. I'll be thinking of you and holding you all in my heart. I will personally help keep his memory alive in the children who loved him dearly.
