Obituary of June A. Hauer

Championsgate, FL – June A. (Hoffman) Hauer passed away at the age of 94 on May 11, 2022 at Cornerstone Hospice in Ocoee, FL. 

She was born on June 12, 1927; daughter of the late Harry Hoffman and Cora (Heidelbaugh) Hoffman Paules. She was the wife of the late Roy E. Hauer, who died in 2008 and the companion of Joseph Owens.  Besides York County, June also lived in Fullerton, CA; Hanover, PA; Orange City, FL; Haines City, FL and finally The Glades at Championsgate, FL.  A few of the manufacturing and retail places where June worked include: Dentsply, York; May Co. and Catalina Swim Wear in Fullerton; S&H Green Stamp in Hanover; and Anstadt Printing in York.  Her family will remember June for her kind heart that was as big and sweet as her sugar cakes, chocolate peanut butter fudge and strawberry pies. 

She is survived by her sons, Leroy E. Hauer and wife Pat of York, PA and Larry E. Hauer of Red Lion, PA;   5 grandchildren – Kim Warren (Bill); Jaime Danielowski (Rick); Karen Hauer (Rob Tutton); Ben Hauer (Sherri); Joey Richards (Chuck) and 5 great grandchildren – Riley Danielowski, Amy Shearer (Brady); Dylan Hauer; Paisley Tiller (Dan) and Trent Corcovelos and 1 step great grandson – Robert Teak Tutton.  Besides her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her two brothers, Earl and Roger Hoffman, 

Cremated remains will placed aside of her husband’s at Florida National Cemetery, in Bushnell, FL. The family has asked that memorials be sent in lieu of flowers to Cornerstone Hospice: http://www.cornerstonehospice.org/
