Obituary of Caridad Castro

Caridad Castro, 93, of Haines City, Florida passed away on May 29, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 20, 1928 in Naranjito, Puerto Rico to Juan De Dios Rivera and Herminia Febo. She moved to Florida in September of 2012 from New York City, she was a housewife and was of the Catholic faith.

Caridad was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her family dearly, and they were her number one priority. She prided herself on taking care of her home and family and she enjoyed watching soap operas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Herminia; siblings, Otilio, Anastacio, Flor, Mariana, Carmen Dolores, Juana, and Francisca. Caridad leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, of 60 years, Radamés, Sr.; children, Angel Antonio (Patricia), Aida Luz (José Vazquez), Radamés, Jr., and Heriberto; grandchildren, Danielle (Jamaal Perry) Vazquez and Angela (Jeff) Chmielewski; great grandchildren, Chase Chadbourne Chmielewski, Claire Rose Chmielewski and Isabella Rose Perry. She will be truly missed by all.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m with Deacon Frank Morano officiating, all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, Florida. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, Florida.
