Obituary of Martha Johnson

Martha Johnson  of Winter Haven passed away on June 17, 2022.

Born in 1917 in Sneads, Florida she moved to Jacksonville where she met her husband, Forest P. Johnson.  They moved to Lake Alfred in 1956.

Martha Worked in the State of Florida Farm Bureau until retirement,  She was a member of Lake Region Ladies Golf Association and a volunteer with the Winter Haven Hospital Auxiliary.  After many years as  a member of Beymer Methodist Church, she joined First Presbyterian Church of Winter Haven.  Her family enjoyed her delicious southern cooking, especially during the holidays.

She was preceded in death by her husband Forest.  She is survived by her daughter, Daphne (James) Gray, her son, Dale (Melody) Johnson, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am, Monday, July 25, 2022 in the Chapel of First Presbyterian Church of Winter Haven.
