Obituary of Anna Joan Vogt

Anna Joan Powell Vogt, 84, went to meet her Lord and Savior on June 27, 2022. She was born in Dundee, FL on November 2, 1937 to the late Morgan B. Powell and Ruby Evelean Rawls.

   She graduated from Haines City High School in 1955 and then attended Polk State College. Joan attended Church of Christ in Dundee, FL and had a strong faith in God and a heart full of love for her family. She was a lifetime member of the Women of the Moose #1152 of Winter Haven. She worked for Dundee Elementary school for 37 years as a para and language arts tutor.

   Joan was predeceased by her husband, John R. Vogt and she is survived by her children, Richard Vogt of Dundee, Ja-Nae Moree of Winter Haven, Michael Vogt (LuAnn) of Auburndale and sister, Beverly Kelley (Ronald) of Auburndale, as well as 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

   She will always be deeply loved and missed.

   Visitation will be Friday, July 1, 2022 from 11 am until the funeral at 12 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City.
