Obituary of Frazer K Pettus

Frazer K. Pettus Jr., 94, of Davenport, FL passed peacefully after a short illness on July 6, 2022.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, son of Frazer K. Pettus Sr. and Anna (Longacre) Pettus, he was one of five children.  Frazer worked for over thirty years as a mechanic at Roncari Industries in East Granby, CT.  

Frazer was an avid Ham Radio operator who made many friends throughout the world.  Frazer loved riding motorcycles and rode until the age of 70.  Frazer had many passions including gardening, snowmobiling, observing wildlife, reading, and watching football.  He was well known for coming up with random interesting trivia; causing people to wonder if it was true or not.  Frazer was a very caring man and his everyday goal was to make people laugh and smile.  Frazer married his love, Eleanor, who joined him in heaven on July 7, 2022.  Frazer and Eleanor enjoyed traveling throughout most of the United States in their RV as well as their motorcycle and side-car.   

Frazer is survived by his two daughters Laura Pettus,  Carol Pfeifer and husband Greg, and step-children David and Kim Petrozza,  Daniel and Doreen Petrozza,  Janet and Arthur Allegra,  and grandchildren Katarina, Jenna, Heather, Arthur, Anthony, John, Robin, Alisha, Angelina, Michael,  and many great grandchildren.  Frazer also leaves behind his loyal friend and caregiver Judy Gilroy.  Frazer was predeceased by his four sisters MaryAnn Mickle, Martha Clevenger, Ruth Martindell, and Rachel Warner, and grandson Christopher.
