Obituary of Carol Ann Shumaker

Carol Ann Shumaker, 82, of Haines City, FL passed away on July 21, 2022. She was born in January 10, 1940 in Toledo, OH to Carl and Dora Sanderlin Wistinghausen. She married the love of her life, Harley Leonard Shumaker in May 18, 1958 and they moved to Florida in 2000 from Ohio. Carol was a member of the First Christian Disciples of Christ Church in Haines City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Beverly Bonning. Carol leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons, Gale Shumaker and Harley (Jill) Shumaker, Jr.; daughter, Peggy Sue (Jim)  Bertucca; grandchildren, Christopher Holt, Alexander and Colby Shumaker. 

The family would like donations to be made to: Pancreatic Cancer Research.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
