Obituary of Martha E. Powell

Martha Eunice Powell a.k.a Marti and Aunt MarMar, was born on March 25, 1970 in San Diego, Ca. She passed away at the age of 52 on July 20, 2022 after a brief illness. She was surrounded by the love of her life and family.

Marti was a true bright light in this dark world, to all who knew her. Fiesty and stubborn to the core but always with love and laughter. She was a lover of Disney, pandas and The Wizard of Oz. She worked as an emergency responder for most of her life and thrived at it. It was her true calling. Her and Jeff married in 2002 in Florida. And remained here until she passed. Following Marti's wishes there will be no service. She requested no one was to sit around in sadness. Later there will be a family/friend gathering planned for all who want to attend to celebrate her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Vi; father, Lou; stepmother, Bea; aunt Merle & Uncle Doug. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Powell; her sisters, Jeanne (Herb), Sandra (Nico), Clara; brothers, Michael Butler (Donna) & Ivan (Katie); soul sister/BFF, Shanna; nephew, Tim (Laura) and their children, Timmy, Alyssa, Tristen, Paisley and Casen; Godchildren, Kiera (Bristol), Stephen and Allee, as well as her god-granddaughter Rowyn; as well as many wonderful in-laws, family and friends in Oregon.
