Obituary of Mary Sue Crocker

Mary Sue Crocker, 75, of Haines City, Florida passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022. She was born on July 30, 1947 in Savannah, Georgia to Fred T. and Lora Cornelison Cody. Mary Sue moved to Haines City, Florida when she was 2 years old from Savannah, Georgia, she worked for Cody Auto’s Part for 45 years as a bookkeeper and was a member of the Women of the Moose in Winter Haven. She was of the Christian faith.

Mary Sue enjoyed working, caring for her cat, gambling at the Hard Rock Casino, and visiting Las Vegas. She was very family oriented and loved her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Crocker; and sister, Karen Barker Brown. Mary Sue leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving son, James Tyson Crocker of Haines City; brother, Gene Cody of Haines City; sister, Eileen Dunn of Haines City; and granddaughter, Taylor N. Crocker of Haines City.

A graveside service will be on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, Florida with Pastor Jim Norman officiating.
