Obituary of Aaliyah "Bibi" Gamez

Aaliyah “Bibi” Gamez, 24, of Haines City, Florida passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022. She was born on September 10, 1998, in Haines City, Florida to Fabein Gamez and Shannon Portillo. She worked in hospitality in South Carolina.

Bibi enjoyed watching anime with her favorite series being “My Hero Academia” and “Black Butler”. She found joy in sketching and creating art, she had a love for nature and animals, especially her fur baby “Dobby”.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Candace Saldana. Bibi leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother, Shannon Portillo; stepfather, Jorge Alcazar; father, Fabein Gamez; stepmother, Barbara Gamez; sisters, Alissa Portillo, Anizavel Gonzalez, and Araceliy Gonzalez; brother, Miguel Gonzalez; maternal grandfather, Antonio Saldana; aunt, Angel Portillo; uncle, Anthony McDowell and many cousins. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City.
