Obituary of Louis McTeer

Louis McTeer, 88, of Haines City, Florida went to be with the Lord on October 14, 2022. He was born on September 26, 1934 in Winter Haven, Florida to Louis and Ruth Miller McTeer.

Louis was a lifelong resident of Florida, he spent 30 years growing citrus and working at Polk County Fertilizer Company, then spent the remaining years at Growers Fertilizer Company and he owned and operated Chess Grove Care Taking. He was a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Haines City, Florida.  

Louis enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends. 

Louis is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, of 66 years, Joan McTeer; and his son, Steven McTeer. Louis leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Christy Masanow of Gainesville, FL; and his grandson, Joshua Masanow of Gainesville, FL.
