Obituary of Elizabeth Ann DeBlasio

Elizabeth Ann DeBlasio, 83, of Barnegat Township, New Jersey passed away on October 28, 2022, in Neptune Township, New Jersey. She was born on April 15, 1939, in Jersey City, New Jersey to Paul and Grace Snyder. Elizabeth was a homemaker, a mother of three, and grandmother of four whose life was centered around her family.

Elizabeth was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was very supportive and devoted to her late husband, Anthony, who was an ordained deacon serving parishes in Old Bridge, NJ, Myrtle Beach, SC and Haines City, FL. She enjoyed reading novels, cheering on the New York Yankees, testing her luck on the slot machines and cooking. Her love for spicy food was a wonder to behold--there wasn't a pepper on earth that was "too hot" for her. Elizabeth was a lifelong democrat, who loved discussing politics and she was very passionate about her beliefs. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Anthony DeBlasio; and siblings, Richard Snyder and Russell Snyder.  Elizabeth leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, David DeBlasio of Davenport, FL; daughters, Christine Murphy and husband John of Clermont, FL and Andrea Rios and husband Abelardo "Al" Rios of Barnegat, NJ; grandchildren, Megan Murphy, John Murphy, Matthew Rios and Amanda Rios.  She will be truly missed by all.

A private visitation and service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 starting at 9:00 a.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, Florida. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, Florida.
