Obituary of Nellie Alda Bennett

Nellie Alda Bennett 96 of Winter Haven passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2022 at her son's residence in Englewood, FL. Born in Evergreen, Alabama she came to the Winter Haven area from Sanford, FL fifty years ago. Nellie was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. A loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother she will be missed. Nellie was preceded in death by her husband James C. Bennett Sr., son Melvin Wilson and daughter Nellie Marks. Nellie is survived by sons Anzel Wilson (Janie), James C. Bennett Jr. (Rhoda), John R. Bennett and daughter Delores Cantrell (Mickey). Sister, Addie Boye, fifteen grandchildren, thirty three great-grandchildren and twenty eight great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19th from 1-2pm with Funeral Services at 2pm at oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Burial will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park in Auburndale, FL.
