Obituary of Roda Englehart

Mrs. Roda Catherine Englehart, age 73 of Winter Haven, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 30, 2022 at George C. Forsythe Hospice House. Roda was born on January 27, 1949 at Woonsocket Hospital, Woonsocket Rhode Island. She was the daughter of the late Pearline Glode and Bryon Angell. 

Roda was a member of Saint Louis Catholic Church. Roda enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed watching her favorite shows, NCIS, Hallmark station, and many more. 

Roda was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Jackie Englehart, brother Bryon, and sister, Donna. Roda is survived by her five children, son Michael Englehart and daughter-in-law Holly Englehart of Wellington, Florida, daughter Vicki Sharples and son-in-law Jerry Sharples of Pascoag, Rhode Island daughter Shelley Griffin and son-in-law Jamie Griffin of Winter Haven, Florida daughter Heather Englehart of Winter Haven, Florida and son Bill Englehart of Mayo, Florida, 24 Grandchildren Andrea (Derek), Joey, Sarah (Louis), Johnathan, Mikey, Sammi, Bobby (Haley), Lisa (Jakob), Alex (Kerstin), Catherine, Allison, Brian, Katlyn, Landon, Sami, Patrick, Wyatt, Sidney, and Sawyer and 16 Great Grandchildren Noah, Leddie, Izabella, Blake, Aleah, Jack, Josiah, Kinsley, Levi, Michael, Reid, Sadie, Junior, Violet, and baby J. She also leaves behind two sisters Doreen and Yvette of Rhode Island. She also leaves many other family members and friends that will sadly miss her. Funeral services will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida date to be determined. 

Heavenly Father, you have not made us for darkness and death, but for life with you forever. Without you we have nothing to hope for; with you we have nothing to fear. Speak to us now your words of eternal life. Life us from anxiety and guilt to the light and peace of your presence and set the glory of your love before us; through Jesus Christ our lord. Amen
