Obituary of Leroy W. Webb, Jr.

LeRoy “Sonny” W. Webb, Jr., 88, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on December 7, 2022, at Astoria Healthcare in Winter Haven. 

Born February 21, 1934, to LeRoy and Mabel Sorrentino Webb he moved to Winter Haven 30 years ago from Stratford, CT. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He was a Driver for Swan Engraving and was of the Catholic Faith.  

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Jane” Sally” Webb, a brother, Bill Webb and sister, Nancy Evola. 

He is survived by three brothers, Bobby Webb of Hawaii, Charles Webb of Clermont, FL and Richard Webb of Trumball, CT; two sisters, Mary Tupper of Shelton, CT and Annie Chace of Groveland, FL.; and many nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, December 16, 2022, at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven, FL 33881.
