Obituary of Sandra Joy Tillman

Sandra “Sandy” Joy Tillman, 70, of Auburndale, FL passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Winter Haven Hospital.

Born January 21, 1952, in Winter Haven, FL, she was a lifelong resident of the area.  She worked as a bookkeeper for Parker Glass for 44 years and was a member of Village Church of God.  She was a Sunday School Teacher for 54 years and loved to read the Bible.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Tully Yelvington and a brother Terry Yelvington.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bobby Tillman; a daughter, Joy Long and her husband Rick of Eagle Lake, FL; two grandchildren, Brandon Long and Emma Long; five siblings, Rita Morris, Diane Fortner, Amy Croft, Perry Yelvington and Rosa Skipper; and two great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm till 8:00pm, Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven.  Funeral Services will be at 11:00am, Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Village Church of God, 6 Coleman Road, Winter Haven, FL 33880.
