Obituary of Donna Jean Long

   Donna Jean Long, 89, of Clermont Florida, passed away on January 5, 2023 at her home. Born on August 30, 1933 in Allen County Indiana, Donna and her late husband Wayne lived, farmed and raised their family in Roanoke and North Manchester  Indiana. They moved to Outdoor Resorts, Clermont Fl in 1985. They were married 67 years.

   Donna was a minister's daughter  and made a decision to follow Christ at age 12. Her Christian faith was evident to all who knew and loved her. Donna worked as a bookkeeper  and  a hard-working farmer's wife and homemaker. She dearly loved and cared for her husband Wayne, "Huey" . She loved and was loved by family and friends. To know Donna was to love her. She was a blessing to many.

   Donna was preceded in death by her husband Wayne on Jan. 6, 2019. She has two daughters, Linda Garrett (Jeff) and Lori McColley (Michael) ; a son, David Long; eleven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life Service  will be held upstairs at Outdoor Resorts Clubhouse , Sat. Jan 14th at 1pm(casual attire) Service will be live streamed at https://youtube.com/@OffGridandOutdoors. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Samaritan's Purse, an organization Donna admired for the life changing work that they do.
