Obituary of Karen Michelle Muncy Gose

Karen Michelle Muncy Gose, 59, of Davenport, Florida  passed away on January 22, 2023. She was born on March 10, 1963 in Fairborn, Ohio to George Edward and Phyllis Belcher Muncy. Karen graduated in 1981 from Greenon High School and she graduated College from Sinclair for Respiratory Therapy in 1995. She was employed by University of Cincinnati, moved to Florida in 2009 from Bellbrook, Ohio, and was a member of Veterans Foreign Affairs.

Karen was avid Bingo member, an animal lover and rescuer. She was also a music lover. Her family will remember her as a strong, independent, stubborn, loving woman.

She is preceded in death by mother, Phyllis Jean Belcher and brother, James Michael White. Karen leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, of 13 years, Gary Gose; father, George Edward Muncy; daughter, Jessica Brumbaugh-Newsome; brother, Todd Muncy; stepsisters, Heather and Kristen. She will be truly missed by all.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 3:00 pm followed by 4:00 pm all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, Florida.
