Obituary of Brenda K. Smith

Brenda K. Smith of Haines City, Florida passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023. She was 63 years old. She was born on Friday, March 20, 1959 to Cecil and Katherine Watson Harris in Pahokee, Florida and was a life long resident of the Lake Hamilton area.

Brenda worked in the local citrus groves driving a tractor for quite a long time, which her Uncle Bill taught her. She was also employed as a night auditor at the local Holiday Inn and for the last 10 years she has been driving a school bus for the children of Polk County. In her off time, she loved spending time with her family and friends and going fishing.

Brenda was predeceased by her mother, Katherine and she is survived by her father, Cecil Harris of Haines City, Florida; brothers, Jimmy Harris and his wife, Sue of Winter Haven, Florida, Dennis Harris and his wife, Anita of Haines City, Florida and her husband, Gene Smith of Haines City, Florida.

A visitation will be on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 10:00 am until the funeral at 11:00 AM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
