Obituary of Jose Luis Ramos-Crespo & Carmen Iris Ramos-Rivera

Jose Luis Ramos-Crespo, 71, and Carmen Iris Ramos-Rivera, 65, both of Kissimmee, Florida passed away on March 4, 2023. Jose was born on April 23, 1951 in Lares, Puerto Rico to Juan Ramos and Regina Crespo and raised by Aurora Mercado Santiago. Carmen was born on August 26, 1957 in Moca, Puerto Rico to Eustaquio Rivera and Basilisa Lopez. Carmen was a seamstress for firemen clothing and a caregiver for many years and Jose was a retired truck driver. They moved to Florida in 2016 from Passaic, NJ and they were members of the St. Nicolas Catholic Church in Passaic, NJ.

Carmen and Jose loved gardening, fixing the house making it a home.  They opened their homes to anyone in need and were very much loved. They were very spiritual and God fearing.

Jose and Carmen leave behind to cherish their memory their son, Jesus Ramos; daughter, Elisha Ramos Santiago; granddaughter, Briana Ramos; great grandchildren, Branden Ramos and Alura Ramos. Carmen’s siblings, Felipe, Nelson, Marcos, Efrain, Hector, Alberto, Angelica, Lucy, Daisy and Maribel. Jose’s siblings, Miguel, Angel Luis, Roberto, Jaime, Ana Elba, Nereida, Maria, Nelida, and Lilliam. Carmen is preceded in death by her brother Miguel Anger and sister Maria Gloria.

A visitation will be Friday, March 10, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. A second visitation will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a funeral service following immediately.
