Obituary of Victoria L. Herman

Victoria L. Herman 80 of Winter Haven passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2023 at the Winter Haven Hospital. As a only child from Osseo, MN. Victoria moved to and grew up in Castro Valley, and Alamedo, CA where she met her husband William who was stationed at Travis Air Force Base in California. Victoria was married in St. Cyril's Church in Oakland, CA to William Herman, then move to Erie, PA in 1964 where William worked at General Electric and she raised four children and participated in the community. She worked as a secretary at Stairways Mental Health Services and Addiction Treatment Center in Erie, PA in addition to being a homemaker. She also worked as a teacher's aide for the Erie County School Board District. She served the Erie communty as a participant on the Erie City Council and also served on the PTA at Diehl Elementary School as the President and Treasurer. Victoria enjoyed painting, camping, fishing and shopping. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother she will be missed. Victoria is survived by her husband of 58 years William Herman of Winter Haven. Son Christopher (Susan) Herman of Severn, MD. Three daughters Lisa (William) Strebin of Winter Haven, Cheryl (Rick) Spencer of Winter Haven, Kelly (Victor) Herman-Alcas of Belmont, NC. Six grandchildren Ashley Spencer (Bruce), Kari Strebin, Rachael Grinnell (Samantha), Nathan (Kim) Spencer, Olivia Alcas-Herman and Samuel Alcas-Herman. Six great-grandchildren Austin (Casandra), Lucas, Chloe, Gavin, Sofia and Benjimen.
