Obituary of Jeffrey "Jeff" Marrero

Jeffrey “Jeff” Marrero, 34, of Auburndale, Florida passed away on Monday March 20, 2023. He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts to Orlando Marrero and Beatris Marcano. He worked at a warehouse as a forklift driver for 12 years and moved to Auburndale in 2005 from Springfield. He was of the Christian faith.

Jeffrey adored his family and was devoted to helping them at every opportunity with his million dollar smile. He was an exceptional father and prioritized his daughters. Jeffery enjoyed spending every moment that he could with them. He found joy in riding his motorcycle, off-roading and playing paintball with his friends. Jeffrey took pleasure in sports and in his high school years, he played basketball. He was a gentle, humble soul who would give anyone the shirt off his back, he was a hard worker and loyal friend. Jeffrey was an easy going, reserved man yet he was very funny and his presence would bring any room to light.  He took pride in his beautiful long hair but his deep voice also set Jeffery apart in any crowd.  Jeffery will be forever missed by his family and by all who knew and loved him. 

Jeffery leaves behind to cherish his memory his beautiful daughters Catalina Alicia Marrero and Lilliana Ivy Marrero; His loving parents Orlando Marrero and Beatris Marcano;the love of his life, Julia Villegas;brothers, Orlando Marrero Jr. and wife, Jessica Lynch and Jonathan Marrero; maternal grandmother, Catalina Aulet; two nephews; one niece; and several loving uncles, aunts and cousins. 

At the gates of heaven, Jeffery is greeted by his maternal grandfather, Victor Marcano; and his paternal grandparents, Felix Marrero and Aida Mercado. 

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 4:00 pm. The family will be receiving family and friends at 3:00 pm all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, Florida.
