Obituary of Victoria Couch

Victoria “Vicki” Marie Larson-Couch passed away on Tuesday, April 25^th, 2023 at the age of 49, surrounded by her daughter Lindy and her beloved dog Sam.

Vicki was born on July 4th, 1973 in Geneseo, IL at Hammond Henry Hospital. Growing up on the family farm, she was very involved in 4-H and was passionate for learning about the world around her. She graduated from Geneseo High School in 1991 and Western Illinois University with honors in Elementary Education in 1996. Vicki was a proud teacher at various schools in Illinois including Grant Elementary, Colona School District, and East Moline School District. In recent years, she went on to complete her Masters from Western Illinois University with a concentration in Language, Culture, and Education where she applied this as an English as a Second Language Teacher.

Vicki was a devoted mom to Lindy and always encouraged her to try new things. She supported her by taking her to Softball Tournaments, attending every music event, and helped make the procrastinated 4-H projects the night before the County Fair. Above all, Vicki was an amazing mother and will forever be greatly missed.

Vicki is proceeded in death by her parents George Lindy Larson and Janice Marie Larson (née Anspach) and many family pets. She is survived by her daughter Lindy Couch, her former husband Mike Couch, her four brothers Jim (Janet) Larson, Larry Larson, Denny (Chris) Larson, and Don (Sue) Larson and her beloved dog Sam.
