Obituary of Owen Barnhart

Owen Wayne Barnhart of Winter Haven, Florida passed away at Lakeland Memorial Hospital on May, 29, 2023. He was 72 years old. He was born on September 27, 1950 in Woodstock, Virginia to Otey Barnhart and Mamie Ruth Fulcher Barnhart. Owen retired to Winter Haven Florida in July of 2010.

Owen was predeceased in death by his parents, Otey and Mamie Barnhart. He is survived by his wife Janice Bracken Barnhart of 16 years, his sister Nora Moser and Nora’s husband Les Moser, son’s Steven and Allen Barnhart, step-daughter Michelle Greenstreet, grandson Sterling Barnhart, step-grandsons Jacob and Matthew Foltz.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to American Heart Association.
