Obituary of Marynell Powell

Marynell Powell, 83, of Winter Haven, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at home with her family by her side.

Born September 3, 1939 in Ethridge, Tennessee she moved to the area as a child and was a lifelong resident of the area.  She was a homemaker, longtime member of Cypress Cathedral and attended the Bartow Assembly of God. 

Marynell is preceded in death by her parents, Mansel and Ruby Parker; a son, Keith Powell and a brother, Lowell Parker.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Louis; three daughters, Cheryl Petko and her husband Scott of Eagle Lake, Rhonda Floyd and her husband Carlie of Eagle Lake, and Karen De Jesus and her husband Daniel of Winter Haven; Ten Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and two Great Great Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am until 11:00am, Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the First Assembly of God in Eagle Lake.  Funeral Services will follow at 11:00am and interment will be at Auburndale Memorial Park.
