Obituary of Leo Barrios

Leo Barrios of Haines City, Florida passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023. He was 65 years old. He was born on Friday, August 9, 1957, in Manila, Philippines to Hilario, Sr. and Preciosa Lumagui Barrios.   

While in the Philippines he continued his education and graduated with a Bachelors Accounting degree at the University of East Philippines and moved to the United States in 1991 to Ohio and then to Orlando, Florida where he continued his career working up to becoming a banker for over a decade. He and his family moved to Haines City from Orlando in 2021. Leo was a hardworking man, who worked hard to be able to have his family close to him, he was also an active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Orlando. He was known to love fishing, travelling with his wife and spending time with his grandchildren, to summarize, Leo, Loved life.   

Leo is predeceased by his parents, Hilario and Preciosa and is survived by his wife, of 46 years, Jaz Barrios; children, Preshill Barrios and his wife, May of Davenport, Florida, Precious David and her husband, Aldous of Haines City, Florida, Jana Izar and her husband, Joe of Redondo Beach, California, Larry Barrios, III of Haines City, Florida; siblings, Conrad Barrios, Ed Barrios, Edna Ang, Jon Barrios and grandchildren, Princess, Prime, Ryan, Audrina, Justin, Jamie, Hailey, Peyton, Brooke and Lucas. Pets; Tik and Blossom.  

The family has asked that you honor Mr. Leo Barrios by wearing white to the services.
