



Obituary of Paul Alan Myers
Paul Alan Myers, 75, of Davenport, Florida passed away on June 19, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 2nd, 1948 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran who retired from the US Army after 23 years of service as an Aviation Maintenance Technician. Paul was honorably discharged from the service with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Two (CW2).
Paul received many awards and decorations, throughout his military career including a Meritorious Service Medal, 13 Air Medals, Vietnam Service Medal, and Master Aircraft Crewman Badge. He completed 5 Combat tours deployed to Vietnam from 1968-1972.
Paul enjoyed woodworking, going to Disney Parks, cruising, traveling, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor. Most of all, he was known as a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Gloria Barnhart. Paul leaves behind his loving wife, of 43 years, Mary Myers; son, Kenny Myers, daughter-in-law Brittney of Cameron, NC; and two grandchildren, Kiley and Nathan Myers.
A service will be at a later date, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
