Obituary of Edward Juarez Ixpancoc

Edward Steven Juarez Ixpancoc, 11, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Nemours Childrens Hospital in Orlando. 

Born July 26, 2011 in Winter Haven, FL he was a lifelong resident of the area and was in the 6th grade at Westwood Elementary School.  He was a firm believer in Christ and attended Iglesia Oasis in Winter Haven, Iglesia Casa de Bendicion in Winter Haven and visited Esperanza Para Tu Porvenir.   He liked Spiderman, Agriculture, Pikachu, Minions, Dogs, Cats, and Legos. He was very talented with the piano.  

He is preceded in death by his dog, Teddy and his cat, Meow Two. 

He is survived by his parents, Gilmer Juarez and Elisea Ixpancoc; a brother, Kevin Juarez Ixpancoc and a sister Adelyn Juarez Ixpancoc. 

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM till 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 1, 2023, followed immediately by funeral services at Iglesia Casa de Benedicion, 3745 Recker Highway, Winter Haven.  Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.  

The last thing he said to his family was, “Thank you Dad for the family you’ve given me. I love my family, pray with faith, have faith, God has done his miracle.  I am cured!  I want to be like Abraham and have ten kids.  Do not feel sad. My kids will be told what God did to me. God has risen me. One day we will all be together.”

Nacido el 26 de julio de 2011 en Winter Haven, FL, fue residente de toda la vida del área y estaba en sexto grado en la Escuela Primaria Westwood. Era un firme creyente en Cristo y asistió a la Iglesia Oasis en Winter Haven, a la Iglesia Casa de Bendición en Winter Haven y visitó Esperanza Para Tu Porvenir. Le gustaba Spiderman, Agricultura, Pikachu, Minions, Perros, Gatos y Legos. era muy talentoso con el piano 
 
Le precedieron en la muerte su perro, Teddy y su gato, Meow Two. 
 
Le sobreviven sus padres, Gilmer Juarez y Elisea Ixpancoc; un hermano, Kevin Juarez Ixpancoc y una hermana Adelyn Juarez Ixpancoc. 
 
La familia recibirá amigos desde las 12:00 p. m. hasta las 2:00 p. m., el sábado 1 de julio de 2023, seguido inmediatamente por los servicios fúnebres en la Iglesia Casa de Bendición, 3745 Recker Highway, Winter Haven. El entierro seguirá en Auburndale Memorial Park. 
 
Lo último que le dijo a su familia fue: “Gracias papá por la familia que me has dado. Amo a mi familia, rezo con fe, ten fe, Dios ha hecho su milagro. ¡Estoy curado! Quiero ser como Abraham y tener diez hijos. No te sientas triste. A mis hijos se les dirá lo que Dios me hizo. Dios me ha resucitado. Un día estaremos todos juntos”.
