



Obituary of Priscilla F. Beasley
In Loving Memory of: Priscilla F. Beasley.
Priscilla Frances Falin Holmes Beasley, 81, of Haines City, FL passed away on July 5, 2023, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, FL.
She was born on March 8, 1942, in Pardee, VA to Denver C. Falin and Virginia “Gertie” Sons Falin Lawson. Priscilla moved to Haines City in 1955 with her mother and her 2 brothers to be with her grandfather. She worked in the hotel industry with her grandmother and later managed restaurants until she had to devote her time to a terminally ill son.
Priscilla made sure her family was always of importance. She sacrificed to make sure their needs were met. Priscilla liked making flower baskets and jigsaw puzzles. She was a member of Landmark Baptist and had attended from the original church, First Missionary Baptist Church, in the early 60’s. She also enjoyed watch the televangelists at home. She loved the Lord and her family.
She is predeceased by her parents, Denver Falin, Gertie Lawson; brothers, James Falin, Carl Falin, Tommy Falin, David Lawson and Garry Lawson, as well as her youngest son, Johnny Beasley, Jr., and great-great granddaughter, Addison Bunker. Priscilla leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sister, Charolette Lawson Bolton, her sons, Rex Warren Holmes, Jr. and Danny Wayne Holmes; a daughter, Marilyn Kay Holmes Herndon; 15 grandkids; 20 great grandkids and 9 great-great grandkids.
A visitation will be on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 10 am until the funeral at 11 am at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, FL.
Memorials donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in honor of John, Jr., or to the Turner Syndrome Foundation, in honor of Addison.
