Obituary of Bernice A. Williams

Bernice A. Williams, 91, of Haines City, Florida passed away on July 7, 2023 in Winter Haven, Florida. She was born on February 10, 1932 in Warrior, Alabama to John Edward and Evie Flora Woods.

Bernice married Basil Lee Williams and together they had four children, Alan Williams, Stanley Williams, Rhonda Williams Mitchell and Anthony Williams. She was a good cook and enjoyed participating in crafting. Bernice was also a proud member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Haines City, Florida.

She was predeceased by her husband, Basil Lee Williams; son Stanley Williams; and daughter, Rhonda Williams Mitchell. Bernice is survived by her sons, Alan Williams and wife, Totsie and Anthony Williams and wife Terrie; grandchildren, Brian Williams, Jason Williams, Katie Williams Edwards, Cliff Mitchell, Jesse Mitchell, Michael Mitchell, Bradley Mitchell, Tyler Williams and wife, Julianna and Terron Williams. She also has several great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, Florida. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, Florida.
