



Obituary of Earl Krieger
Earl Krieger, 86, of Haines City, Florida passed away on July 7, 2023 at the Winter Haven Hospital. He was born on December 25, 1936 in Millersburg, Ohio to Simon and Alma Kaiser Krieger. Earl graduated from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, where he initially studied architecture before transferring to engineering. He owned and operated multiple log homes, including Roundtree Log Homes, where he built and designed custom furniture for 58 years, retiring in 2020. Earl moved to Florida in July 2021 from Terre Haute, Indiana and he faithfully belonged to the Church of Christ in Ohio and also attended the Lake Alfred Methodist Church in Florida. He was a proud member of Riley Lodge 390 in Indiana Free Masons and the Shrines in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Earl had a profound love for woodworking, finding joy in crafting with his hands. He delighted in watching football and baseball, particularly supporting his beloved teams, the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Guardians. One could rarely find him absent from the volleyball and softball games of his cherished granddaughter Chloe. His heart overflowed with love when he was in the company of his grandchildren and his dear companion Sharon.
He was preceded by his parents Simon and Alma; and siblings, Dr. Paul Krieger, Grace Kaiser, Ruth Young, Miriam Casey. Earl's memory will be cherished by his devoted companion of 16 years, Sharon Sue Scott, as well as his grandchildren: Alaina, Claudia, Olivia, Caleb, Collin, and Chloe.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
