Obituary of Hazel Haynes

Hazel D. Haynes, 93, of Polk City, Florida passed away on July 23, 2023. Born on May 12, 1930 in Carroll County, Tennessee to Birdie and Thelma Franks.  

Hazel moved from Arizona in 1964 calling Florida home. She was a homemaker.  Hazel enjoyed fishing, flowers and gardening. She was a great cook and made the best tacos. She also enjoyed sewing. Most of all Hazel enjoyed going to church and meeting up with her friends.  

Hazel in preceded in death by her husband, James Haynes; sons, Willard Haynes, Charles Haynes, Larry Haynes. She is survived by her daughters, Susan (James) Watkins, Sandra (Larry) Martin; son, Willie (Catherine) Haynes; sisters, Sara, Christine, and Nancy; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many great great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
