Obituary of Gerard Rodriguez

Gerard Rodriguez, a resident of Haines City, FL, passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 54. He was born in Edinburg, TX, to Domingo Rodriguez Jr. and Estela Lumbreras. Gerard was a dedicated construction worker, devoting 25 years of his life to the profession. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he attended with his family St. Ann Catholic Church in Haines City, FL.

He was a funny and hardworking person who stood out in construction, displaying expertise in his job. He loved helping people with home projects and having a relaxed time at the Mud Hole with some beers. He also had a liking for visiting Hooters.

Gerard was preceded in death by his father, Domingo Rodriguez Jr., leaving behind his mother, Estela Rodriguez, who mourns the loss of her beloved son. Gerard will also be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his children: Eric Gerard Rodriguez, Ismael Rodriguez, Lorenzo Rodriguez, and Khloee Rodriguez. In addition to his mother and children, Gerard is survived by his brothers, Domingo Rodriguez III and Erasmo Rodriguez, who shared many cherished memories and experiences with him throughout their lives.

A visitation will be held at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held to celebrate Gerard's life on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at 12:00 PM at St. Ann Catholic Church in Haines City, FL. Gerard will be laid to rest at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL.
