Obituary of Eldon Ray Tipper

Eldon Ray Tipper (Elbow), 81 of Winter Haven, FL passed away on Thursday 24, 2023 in Jacksonville, FL after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He was born in Auburndale, FL on July 18, 1942 to the late Ora James and Edna Pearl Tipper. He was preceded in death by the love of his life Nora (Noie) after 45 years of devotion and selflessness. Their love was truly an example for all of us.

Eldon is survived by his sister, Carol (Bill) Koen of Lakeland; two sons, Artie (Vivian) Tipper of Jacksonville and Geno (Judy) Tipper of Auburndale. He left behind a legacy of grandchildren, Justin (Nicole), Kendall, Allen (Courtney), Ashley (Perry), Travis, Blake, and Caitlin. He also leaves behind 10 great grandchildren.

Eldon worked as a migrant worker and truck driver. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He is most remembered for his work ethic and his generous nature to others. His forever optimism and love of life will live on in the hearts of those that knew and loved him.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 9th from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
