Obituary of Eloise Bush Brooks

Eloise Bush Brooks, 80, of Auburndale, Florida passed away on September 30, 2023 in Tampa, Florida. Born in Bonifay, Florida she has been a Florida native her whole life.   

Eloise was a loving, Holy Spirited filled wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Eloise was a line leader at Jacqueline’s Distillery, and she worked in the embroidery department at SS designs. In the later years, she served as a caregiver. Eloise was a proud member of All Things New Church in Eagle Lake, where she was a strong leader and prayer warrior. She was passionate about spending time with Jesus and sharing the love and message of the Lord. She enjoyed singing, being with her family, shopping, going for walks, and eating out, especially at Red Lobster, Cracker Barrel, and Manny's.  

Eloise is preceded in death by her parents, KL and Lessie Bush; brother, Darrel Bush; and husband, Thomas Milton Brooks Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Shonkwiler, Genise Moffitt Humphrey, Rhonda Terrell; sons, Thomas “Chuck” Milton Brooks Jr., Phillip Brooks; brothers, Raymond Bush, Robert Bush, Max Bush; grandchildren, Kyle Shonkwiler, Hannah Humphrey Kinsey, Trevor Shonkwiler, Hunner Humphrey, Heather Moss, Devon Brooks, Kendall Brooks, PJ Brooks, Katie Brooks, Baron Brooks, Joshua Harrell, Jessica Boykins, Katelyn Terrell; great grandchildren, Kali, Savanna, Skyelyn, Selah, Ruby, Taylor, Michael, Holden, TJ, Aniyah, Camdyn, Pason, Luna, Coral. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
