Obituary of Anna Faye Waters

Anna “Faye” Waters of Winter Haven, Florida passed away in her home, on October 24, 2023, with her family by her side. She was 75.

Faye was born at Winter Haven Hospital on December 23, 1947, to Reyvene “R.V.” Goodman and Annie Laura (Broom) Goodman. Faye grew up in Winter Haven and later started a family of her own, with her loving husband, Norman.

Faye spent many years as a school bus driver with the Polk County School Board, as she enjoyed working with children.

Faye loved spending her spare time with the people she loved most, especially her precious grandchildren that she adored.

Faye also enjoyed reading her bible, as well as singing and preaching the gospel to others. She loved God and continued to spread her love for him even throughout her final days.

Faye will be remembered mostly for her fiery spirit and how she loved hard and worried and prayed for all. She will truly be missed by so many.

Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Waters; her parents, Reyvene “R.V.” Goodman and Annie Laura (Broom) Goodman; and her siblings, Richard Goodman and Myra Goodman Davis.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son Jon Waters of Winter Haven, FL and her angel daughter Serena Cayson Stutz (Sean) of Auburndale, FL. She also leaves behind her four grandchildren, Jonathan Waters of Winter Haven, FL; Keylee Lord (Josh) of Auburndale, FL; Jada Waters of Winter Haven, FL and Preston Waters of Winter Haven, FL, and many more family members and lots of dear friends that loved her just as much and will miss her dearly.

A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Anna Faye Waters life will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023, at GracePointe Church, 3601 Cypress Gardens Road Winter Haven, Fl 33884. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00pm, with the service to begin at 2:00pm. She will then be laid to rest, alongside her husband, at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Auburndale, Florida.
