Obituary of David C. Jordan
David C. Jordan, 60, of Florida, formerly of Kennett Square, PA, was a victim of a tragic motorcycle accident on October 30, 2023. He was born on February 21, 1963, to W. Donald and Marie Frenz Jordan. David dedicated 28 years of his life to the field of technology, working as a computer consultant under his own company, Jordan Computer Consultants.
David yearned for the open road, finding comfort and excitement on his motorcycle during cross-country rides. He had a passion for his motorcycles and Corvettes, reveling in the excitement of freedom they brought to his life. Disney held a special place in his heart, and the music of the legendary band Queen resonated deeply with him.
David found immense joy and fulfillment in dedicating his time to be with Debbie, his beloved wife and high school sweetheart, enjoying every moment they shared. They created a lifetime of memories filled with laughter, adventure, and love. David was known as the go-to person, a "fixer" of whatever was troubling anyone. He approached life with a mix of sarcasm and abundant love for everyone around him.
His sense of humor was unique; he would crack a joke that may not have landed with others, but David would find himself in fits of laughter, cherishing his unique brand of humor. His infectious spirit and caring nature will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
David is preceded in death by his parents, W. Donald and Marie. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 42 years, Debbie Jordan; daughters, Brittany McSweeney and husband, Shaun of Clermont, FL; Ariel Jordan of Denver, CO, and son, Damian Jordan of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, Phillip Jordan and wife, Kelly, Neill Jordan and wife, Marybeth, and Michael Jordan and wife, Mindy; sisters, Kathy Jordan, Lori Wood and husband, Bob, Stacie Lynch and husband, Mark, and Joanne DellaValle and husband, Vince; grandchildren, Myla and Lachlan McSweeney; and 18 nieces and nephews.
