Obituary of Jack D. Guinn, Jr.

Jack “Jackie” Dennis Guinn, Jr, 76, of Davenport, FL passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023, from brain cancer in Winter Haven Hospital.

Mr. Guinn was born January 22, 1947, in Lancaster, SC, the son of Jack Guinn, Sr. and Nevada Guinn, both of Davenport moving to the Haines City area in 1958 from Farmville, VA. Jack was the owner and operator of J&J Farms Trucking & Repair of Davenport.

He is predeceased by his father, Jack, Sr. and brothers, Johnnie Guinn, Sr and Donald Guinn. Jack is survived by his wife, of 58 years, Patricia “Gail” Guinn; mother, Nevada; sons, Jack Guinn, III (Sherry), Lonnie Guinn (Chasity), Scotty Guinn (Beth), Steven Guinn, all of Haines City, FL; brothers, Dennis Guinn, Jimmy Guinn, both of Davenport, Ronnie Guinn of Lake Wales, FL; sisters, Marylou Adams and Adele Christian of Davenport; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

The celebration of life service will be Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 11 am – 4 pm at Rustic Grace Barn, 1680 Horseshoe Creek Rd. Davenport, FL 33837. A reception to follow.
