Obituary of Ruby Evelean Powell

AUBURNDALE - Ruby Evelean Powell, 96, Auburndale, FL passed away on 3/27/12 of natural causes. Mrs. Powell was born December 29, 1915 in Nauvoo, Alabama and moved to Florida at the age of 8. She was a founding member of the Church of Christ in Dundee, FL. She retired from Orange Co/ Lake Hamilton CoOp after 20 years as a grader. Mrs. Powell was predeceased by her husband, Morgan Baxter Powell; her mother, Anna M. Rawls and father, Edgar C. Rawls, Sr.; sisters, Imogene Tyner, Christine Dreggors, Elean Coleman, Lurene Rawls and Jeweldean "Judy" Hanson and brother, Ruel Rawls. She is survived by her daughters, Beverly "Bea" Kelley and husband Ron of Auburndale, FL, Joan Powell Vogt of Dundee, FL; brother, E.C. Rawls, Jr. and wife Anna of Green Cove Springs, FL; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
