Obituary of Annie Marie Floyd

POLK CITY- Annie Marie Floyd, 73 of Polk City, FL died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at her residence due to cancer. Born September 9, 1938 in Lithia, FL she moved to Polk City 40 years ago. She was a member of New Life Community Church in Polk City and was a retired school bus driver for the Polk County School Board. She is preceded in death by: her husband, John H. Floyd; a son, John W. Floyd; her parents, James amd Ebbie Sheffield; 4 brothers, Robert Sheffield, Johnny Sheffield, Preston Sheffield and Ralph "Mutt" Sheffield; and a sister, Stella Doerman. She is survived by: 2 daughters, Brenda Frye and her husband Jim and Joan Beckham and her husband Brian; a brother, Herbert Sheffield and his wife Louise; 2 sisters, Mary Williams and Evelyn "Dean" Hall ; 11 grandchildren, Dustin and his wife Anna, Brittany, Kaley, Bethany, Rodney, Jackie, Jacian, Haley,Kendall, Jonathan and Destiny; and 3 great-grandchildren, Kyra, Emma and Hahli. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. A Funeral Service will be at 2:00pm, Friday, April 27, 2012 in the Funeral Home Chapel.
