Obituary of Nellie Gaines

Nellie "Nell" Gaines, 91, of Haines City, FL passed away on January 29, 2013 in Auburndale, FL of kidney failure. She was born on July 10, 1921 in Anniston, AL and moved from there to Haines City in 1956. Nell was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nell is predeceased by her husband, Robert F. Gaines and she is survived by her children, Donald Miller of Ohatchee, AL, Ronald Miller of Alexandria, AL, Robin Gaines of Haines City, Linda Barber of Haines City, Sharon Fitzgerald of Winter Haven, FL; siblings, Marjorie Pinkston of California, Glenda Land of Alabama, Franklin Chastain of Tennessee; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A visitation will be Saturday, 2/2/13 from 12 noon until the funeral at 1 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City.
